Project Players Development: A project player is a program we put together to develop players & help them achieve their goals. We’ll concentrate on the Principles of play to achieve player development. The biggest issues teams are facing today are:
Understanding the Game: Creating Space, Exploding space
Principles of Defense: pressuring, containing, using the body shape, Zonal Defense, Offside
Principles of Attack: individual skills with speed, penetration and mobility, Decision Making
Communications: talk to each other, awareness, Transitional Play, Developing Team play
Passing: passing the ball with the inside & outside of the foot, long passes, and short passes,
Diamond & Triangle passing, Small Sided Games
We’ll build The Five Principles of Attack & help players work on Penetration, Depth/ Support, Mobility, Width & Creativity/ Improvisation
